Pyramid Model Program
At Faith Learning Center, we are proud to be an implementation site for the Pyramid Model, a nationally recognized framework for support young children's social and emotional development. This model promotes positive behavior, builds strong relationships, and creates a nurturing environment where every child can thrive!
Building Positive Relationships
The Pyramid Model emphasizes the importance of strong, supportive relationships. By fostering connections between teachers, children, and families, we create a caring community that helps each child feel secure, valued, and ready to learn.
Creating Supportive Environments
Our classrooms are designed to encourage exploration, cooperation, and respect. Through predictable routines, clear expectations, and engaging play spaces, we help children feel confident, safe, and ready to participate.
Teaching Social & Emotional Skills
With the Pyramid Model, we teach children key skills like sharing, problem-solving, and managing emotions. These foundational skills empower children to build friendships, handle challenges, and succeed in social situations.
Tucker Turtle & Friends
At Faith Learning Center, Tucker Turtle is a beloved character who, along with his neurodivergent friends, helps teach children calm and kind ways to manage their emotions and solve problems. Through Tucker's example of "stop, take a deep breath, and think," children learn to recognize their feelings, express themselves respectfully, and handle conflicts with empathy. Tucker Turtle and his friends support our commitment to creating an inclusive, caring environment where every child can build social-emotional skills in a way that respects their unique needs and strengths.
